Temporary Work Visa
(H-2) The H-2 visa is the visa no one
knows about. This visa allows someone to come to the United States to
work for a business which is able to show that it has a temporary need
for a worker. We have to show the government that the U.S. business has
a short term need for a worker and was unable to find a qualified U.S.
worker. These applications must be crafted carefully because the government
will do its own advertising to be sure that no qualified U.S. workers
are available. These visas come in three (3) sets of one (1) year meaning
that the foreign national may be able to stay in the U.S. for a maximum
of three (3) years.
