Investment Visa
(E Visa) Investing in a U.S. business
is a nice way to get a visa to enter the U.S. on an E visa. Nationals
of some countries can invest directly in the United States; nationals
of other countries, such as Iran, have to be careful about where the money
to be transferred to the United States comes from. You can invest in a
business which is already in operation or in a new business. There is
no minimum investment.

| Example Number One: |
|
Mamad has enough money to invest
in a small U.S. business. Fortunately, he has bank accounts
in Abu Dhabi and Turkey which have generated enough money
from interest that he can invest in a small U.S. business.
He and his family get an E visa. The structure of the purchase
will determine whether he and his family are eligible for
green cards. |

| Example Number Two: |
| Manuela is a doctor who immigrated to England
many years ago. She is tired of the rain in London and wants
to move to sunny Texas. She has a friend with a doctor’s office
in Houston. Her friend is happy to allow Manuela to invest money
in his practice. Although Manuela cannot practice medicine by
investing, Manuela and her family will be able to move to the
U.S. on the basis of the investment. |
