Peter M. Viles, Esq. is a member of the bars of Georgia, Pennsylvania,
South Carolina, Texas and Washington, D.C. He is also admitted to
the United States District Courts in the Southern District of Texas
and in the Western District of Pennsylvania. He earned a Master of
Arts in Linguistics from the University of South Carolina where he
specialized in syntax and second language acquisition, and he was
awarded his Juris Doctor (J.D.) by Tulane Law School in 1996 where
he also received a Certificate in Maritime Law.
He has successfully brought people from all over the world to the
United States to work, to obtain greencards, and to become citizens.
Many of his clients had challenging criminal issues and complex
issues of illegal presence. He has also has defended immigrants
before the immigration courts to prevent their deportation. Mr.
Viles is also experienced in filing asylum claims and taking them
from the asylum office to the courts when necessary. He has won
asylum claims based on ethnic persecution, mental illness, and conversion
from Islam to Christianity.
Mr. Viles also represents clients in matters of criminal defense,
divorce, personal injury, and consumer protection actions.
